Im a young, dedicated person who has always had a dream to race cars.. My dream of racing cars came from humble beginnings back in 1995 when the first Need for Speed(PC) game was released on the market. Unfortunately, I didnt have any financial backing to start racing at such a young age. Despite this, i decided it would be my challenge to put myself into a postion where i could race, and not before i was too old to start making a career of it.

Here I am today. Working hard at my job and always looking for ways to help promote, and raise funds for my new career. I am 23 and i work as a Web Developer for one of New Zealand’s largest telecommuncations company.

I was given an opportunity to drive a V8 Holden Race car through the guys at Holden Hot Laps. It was an awesome experience and for anyone wanting to see what its like to drive, or be in a race car then i would suggest you try that! More importantly, Phil Blythe the race driver i was with gave me plenty of praise as i gave him “the best race experience he has ever had with a new driver”. He said “you never missed an apex, you turned in at the right time and accelerated well”. What really took me, and yes i have video evidence of all of this is when he got out of the car, looked over to Stuart Roddick and said “This kid is good!”. From that moment i knew i was destined to race a car.

Having already sat my Race Licence, i am ready to get started. I will be racing in the Mazda Pro7 series run nationwide. I will have a new website which i will be advertising soon so watch for updates.
